Born in Kearney Nebraska in August of 1989, grew up in the town of Broken Bow Nebraska. I started fishing at a very young age with my dad we made frequent trips to lake Oahe fishing for walleye and salmon. Once I started growing up we didn’t go near as often due to my activity in sports. I graduated from Broken Bow High School in 2008, where I was highly active in sports year round.
In the fall of 2008 I attended Southeast Community College and graduated with a degree in machine tool and die in 2009. I now work for a medical supplier company called Becton Dickinson in their tool room located in Broken Bow my home town. Bought my first boat in 2012 and went fishing in it every chance I got. I competed in my first walleye tournament that spring and never looked back, I was hooked! Since then I’ve fished to last two years in the Nebraska Walleye Trail with my partner Jeff Synak finishing in the top 15 at almost every tournament we attend.
We qualified for the Cabelas Regional Championship tournament held at lake Oahe in South Dakota in July of 2014. After 5 days of hard fishing it all worked out for us and we were crowned Champions! We plan on fishing in the Masters Walleye Ciruit , Nebraska Walleye Trail, and SD Governors Cup Tournaments this year, also hoping to qualify for NWF Nationals held at Milford lake in Kansas this spring. Hope to see you on the water!
